AMI Custom Metals is the ONLY company in Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Beaufort, Savannah and the Low Country that offers a warranty on all of our products including our handrails and ornamental products.
WROUGHT IRON
HANDRAIL WARRANTY
Limited 1-year warranty: to cover standard paint finishes against abnormal fade, peeling, cracking, blistering, rust, or craze.
The Performance Warranties will not apply to damage caused by: contamination detrimental to the coating; contact with chlorine, fertilizer, pesticides, industrial agents, contact with sprinkler/ irrigation systems, tree sap, entangled vegetation ( maintenance issues); alteration of coating by owner; standing or ponding water; improper cleaning; acts of G-D; falling objects, explosions, fire, or other such similar or dissimilar occurrences beyond the control of AMI Custom Metals.
As a condition of said warranty, AMI Custom Metals requires that ALL coated metal products located less than 10 STATUTE MILES from the seashore (salt water) be systematically rinsed with fresh water (at least bi-monthly) to prevent the accumulation of salt deposits.
Limited 5 year warranty: to cover against any manufacturing defects not associated with finish. AMI Custom Metals, upon notice and determination of valid claim, will repair and or re-coat parts at the company's expense. AMI Custom Metals is not liable for the cost of peripheral repairs associated with take down or re-installation.
AMI Custom Metals reserves the right to inspect and use its chosen agents to determine cause for failure of coating and or manufacturing.
ALUMINUM HANDARAIL WARRANTY
Limited 2-year warranty: to cover standard powder coat finishes against abnormal fade, peeling, cracking, blistering, rust, or craze.
